As a society, we have to remember that our identities are not defined by our jobs/career. Having outside interests and passions will add considerable contentment to one's life. I think all too often people feel trapped in the rat race of life and forget that it's necessary to do things (on a regular basis) that bring them pleasure. I think people are unhappy with their jobs because they are ultimately unhappy with their lives. As a society, we have to remember that our identities are not defined by our jobs/career.
