The underweb…sounds sinister, doesn’t it? Did you know that there is a whole extra layer of search-ability online? Maybe you know that you should do a Google “vanity” search (a search of your own name). But, did you know there is online information about you that prospective employers may uncover beyond what Google shares?

Maybe you are ahead of most job seekers, and already realize that employers are searching every online resource available to find information about you. The next step is to find out what people can uncover about you if they dig a little deeper. Read more on my post on Job-Hunt.org.

    Miriam,
It is amazing to google your own name and then see how many folks have the same name, unflattering twin, that you do. The web can be a misleading place.

David – It is so important to know what people are finding out about “you” – or about someone with your name. The stories I have heard about “evil name twins…” It’s enough to make you keep an eye on it and do what you can to control results for your name! Thanks for your comment!
