Working with college students, I am seeing that volunteer experience is becoming increasingly more important as the competition for internships and entry level jobs gets even more fierce. Often times, volunteer experience is the only thing on a college student’s resume.

Also, while looking for a job, I highly recommend people to volunteer because a volunteer outing is pretty much a networking event, but instead of doing drinks, you are helping people!
