Cara – It is true that not everyone will be successful as a blog author. The important thing – being able to write well. And to have something to say! This blog was not a “personal” blog, per se, but did share some personal experiences. Of course, there is no “one thing” that ALL job seekers will be able to use with the same success!

I would like to say, though, that not all blogs will make an employer think highly of you. A general rule is to either make personal blogs private, or if you don’t want to, make sure you don’t publish anything in your blog that you wouldn’t tell an employer. Or, you could have a professional blog – a great way to get noticed.
