Many job seekers face obstacles to landing new opportunities because they haven&#039;t exactly had the &quot;work&quot; experience sought. And as a fan of the value of volunteering, I&#039;m so glad you mentioned it as a venue in which candidates can demonstrate leadership skills. The truth is that in many volunteer organizations, they are starved for volunteers who want to be leaders. There is a saying in volunteer organizations: 90% of the work is done by 10% of the people. Candidates can improve their odds by being part of that 10%.]]></description>
