My comment wasn’t about comparing the 2 logos – mine is *still* big, but all in due time – but I’ll send you a screenshot to explain what I mean in a clearer way.

Jacob – Thanks for stopping by! I’m glad you like the new look, but I am puzzled by your impression of the logo, which seems to take up the exact same space on my screen as Job Mob’s – and certainly a lot less than my previous site. That was actually one of the goals of this new look — to have the logo and header take up less space! Other experts have commented that there is actually a lot more space now above the fold than in my previous site. In any case, I will look into your comment, as the space issue is certainly paramount in my mind for this redesign.

The colors are refreshing and the layout is easy to understand.

I have one problem though- the logo is far too big. On a 1024×768 screen, at a glance your logo seems to take up 1/3 of the view. I’ve had criticism that the JobMob logo is too big but there’s not much comparison.

One option is to reduce the logo in the header, but to watermark it in a faint gray against the site’s background.

Otherwise, good work by you, Willie, and anyone else involved. Refreshing.
