I love this article. I re-entered the job search about a month ago and since then, joing FB, Twitter, Linkedin and numerous other "targeted" groups.

I received one freelance job early on which I now attribute to one half Twitter networking and one half luck. I have had one interview via local ad (with a 2nd interview scheduled) and continue to work on my new blog.

Your suggestions for Twitter particularly are right on! I have met many people who have been gracious, shared ideas, shared experience do's and don'ts and who have recommended influential people to follow.

Though I have not had a "happy ending" yet, I appreciate your article, tools and support.

Keep up the good work - we (job hunters) are listening/learning!
