Miriam has been advising clients regarding their career plans and writing resumes for over 12 years and is proud to encourage, enlighten and empower job seekers for success! An accomplished writer and editor, she was a Vice President for a Wall Street firm prior to earning a Master’s degree from Columbia University in the City of New York, where she trained in career advising and counseling.
Prior to founding Keppie Careers, Miriam was responsible for career advising, presentations and programming at several New York City institutions and headed the Career Action Center at the Rollins School of Public Health of Emory University. At Emory, she advised an array of clients, from new professionals through experienced job seekers, and honed key skills by working with a very diverse clientele, including international students.
Well known in the industry for her highly regarded blog and sought by The Wall Street Journal, Forbes.com, ABCnews.com, Wisconsin Public Radio and other media outlets for professional advice, Miriam happily shares insights on important and timely career search strategies. Using Twitter for the job hunt is a favorite topic, and she is listed in a variety of “Best People to Follow on Twitter” lists for job seekers. You may also read Miriam’s advice on the nationally known Examiner.com site, where she serves as the National Career Coach Examiner and on GreatPlaceJobs, an on-line site that features her as both the in-house career advisor and the Networking and Social Media Strategy Coordinator.
Miriam is pleased that Keppie Careers’ blog is featured on Alltop.com’s “career” page, and she was personally invited by nationally syndicated career advice columnist, J.T. O’Donnell, to serve as an expert contributor to the TAP into Careerealism project, a Twitter Advice Project with over 6,600 followers.

Clients will save time, money and sanity by working with her to learn how to “drive their own career bus.” She believes that job seekers DO control their own futures and that her job is to provide the road map to success!
Her clients are her best advocates. A sample of testimonials:
I count meeting Miriam as one of the 10 best things I have done for my own career. She is one of those people whose opinion counts. Not only did she help me prepare world-class job search documents and enrich my personal on-line brand, but she is also a gifted business writer who works magic with any written communication. I’m hardly a religious person, but I must bless you for all the inspiration and support you’ve given me. What you do is very special. I hope earthly rewards will follow, because you deserve them.
