Too bad most people don’t have the guts to confront their bosses, if a boss can’t be a good boss then you can’t do anything about that unless the company would take an action. Find a new job then quit as soon as possible, taking no action would just make your day miserable and you don’t deserve a life like that. In reply to Razwana. you can tell youve never been around much. talking about it just makes you find out who is a snitch and licking the boss's boots. and HR? are you sure? I know hr depts that simply work to do the behest of the company and will ignore labor laws and everything to railroad a whistle blower or anyone who complains.

first off the word BOSS need to be canned humans dont have a damned boss and any dolt who calls himself or herself a boss instead of supervisor is already in the toilet as far as a Im concerned no acehole jerk is my boss. I dont need or have a damned boss so americans start complaining about the use of this word. Management always allows ignorance and coddles rotten managers turning a deaf ear to their bull and allowing them to railroad employees americans lost their rights when they allowed people to tell them unions were bad things. yeah right thats why union workers make the most money. americans just dont know how to think

Bad bosses – bad in every sense! It is very easy to play the victim and blame ‘the boss’ for everything but as with all relationships, it’s a two-way street.

Facing up to a bad boss is really tough but worth it. And it’s a learning experience. I do find that speaking to colleagues about it works but like you say, there is a fine line between seeking counsel and constantly gossiping.

In the absolute worst case, HR can be called upon.
