So true! If your resume is terrible, you are lost. We should always polish it and accommodate to the requirements of the given employer. Thanks for the great link to hire someone to create one! But how about writing it myself? What do you think about the tips I found here: http://moneyland.time.com/2012/04/13/how-to-make-your-resume-last-longer-than-6-seconds/ ? Do you have any other advice?

Laurie – I agree with you! We’re all so frustrated by how things have evolved for job seekers. The hiring process doesn’t serve anyone well right now. In the meantime, job seekers need to make some changes. It would be great if employers would start listening to people like you and improve the system for everyone!

In reply to Laurie Ruettimann. My thoughts also. You cannot take out the human being and replace it with automation software and expect the same results. Unfortunately, this only affects the job seekers.
