The corporate headquarters where I used to work has nap rooms. They were super sterile and more like a school nurse's office, but at least they were there. I used them when I needed a quiet place to relieve a migraine.

I can never relax quickly enough for a 20-minute nap anyway. All I think about is how each of my 20 minutes is ticking away!

Anita,
Thanks for commenting! I am a big fan of sleep, although my naps usually extend past the "ideal" 20 minutes. I agree that employers who can see the big picture and recognize the benefits of a "pick me up" snooze will benefit in the long run.

Personally, I think many of the world's ills can be directly traced to lack of sleep!:) Seriously, many employers have found that providing "quiet rooms" have a great payoff -- a worker is more creative, productive and less likely to become ill when they get enough sleep. That sounds like a smart plan -- employers just have to get past the thought that taking a nap is somehow slacking.
