How are women faring in the workforce and in business?

Did you know that 40% of large, public companies have no women on their boards of directors? Only 16.1% of companies in the U.S. have women board members. Fewer than 5% of startups are owned by women.

These stats are all from an infographic shared via MBA@UNC, the online MBA program at the University of North Carolina in partnership with Women 2.0. In short, the infographic displays the progress (and the work that needs to be done) of Women in the Workplace and in the technology industry. (The quote above is from Sara Blekely, founder of Spanx.
